when looking at layering and munipulation i reasurched artists who do this though out there work i looked at French artist duo named “Helmo” – comprised of Thomas Couderc and Clément Vauchez has released a new series of photo-artworks entitled “Bêtes de Mode” (or Fashion Animals in English). By layering portraits of people with gels of complimentary animals, they create an awesome effect of a united image.
theses artist have a similar meaning to tim walker in a way that it is about esfetics and the clothing the models are wareing as much as the animals themselfs these photographs are done by layering the two images over eachother in photoshop and then changeing the coulor contrast so that they stand out.
to respond to this work i looked at the images i have of one of the dogs and i wanted to create a photograph that uses the same tequnic but i did not like the meaning so i used photographs of the dog walking to tell a story becouse the photographs really create this feeling of a past future and present .to do this i went on photoshop and started playing with the photographs i has of the dog walking.i also tryed to create some photogrphs that where verry simular to the tequnicks by messing around with the coulors and by haveing a human in the same photograph.
